چکیده

This study investigated the effect of lipid levels on growth, body composition, metabolism enzymes activity and related genes expression in hybrid grouper (? Epinephelus fuscointestinestatus × ? E. lanceolatu ). Three diets with different 6% (low-lipid feed, LF), 11% (medium-lipid MF) 16% (high-lipid HF) were designed each diet was fed to triplicate groups 30 fish (6.73 ± 0.00g) for eight weeks. The results revealed following. 1) maximum weight gain rate (WGR), specific growth (SGR), protein efficiency ratio (PER) lowest feed conversion (FCR) values found HF group. There no significant difference survival (SR) among ( P > 0.05). 2) Condition factor (CF), hepatosomatic index (HSI) visceralsomatic (VSI) increased increasing dietary lipid. 3) Crude content whole-body muscle significantly as level < 4) Principal component analysis fatty acids showed that sum n-3 polyunsaturated (?n-3PUFA)/sum n-6 (?n-6PUFA) higher group than other two 5) Biochemical serum indexes triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), alkaline phosphatase (AKP) low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) but lower high-density (HDL-C) 6) Liver biochemical indicators MF had lipoprotein lipase (LPL), hepatic (HL) triglyceride (ATGL) acid synthase (FAS) very-low density (VLDL-C) level. 7) relative lpl ), adipocyte-type acid-binding a-fabp liver-type l-fabp heart-type h-fabp ) hormone-sensitive hsl liver 0.05), while fas gene expressed at 8) Histological oil-red sections larger more droplets those diets. It concluded better performance this not conducive progress metabolism, resulting accumulation affecting quality fish. provides useful information formulation environmentally friendly cost-effective grouper.

Backcross breeding between TGGG hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus  E. lanceolatus) and giant grouper (E. lanceolatus)

This paper reports on the first successful backcross breeding between TGGG hybrid grouper and GG in captivity. To establish a seed production technique for this new backcross grouper, eggs and larval development were observed. Three successful spawning was observed in November 2018, September 2019 and November 2019. The eggs were collected using stripping methods and the sperms were collected u...

Suppression of high lipid diet induced by atherosclerosis sarpogrelate

Sarpogrelate (SP), a serotonin (5-HT2A) receptor antagonist, is used as an anti-platelet agent for the treatment of some vascular diseases. SP has been reported to inhibit 5-HT induced coronary artery spasm, increase in intracellular calcium and smooth muscle cells proliferation. This study was undertaken to test that SP suppresses the development of atherosclerosis due to high cholesterol diet...

Beneficial effects of natural Jeju groundwaters on lipid metabolism in high-fat diet-induced hyperlipidemic rats

BACKGROUND Groundwater is believed to possess many beneficial effects due to its natural source of various minerals. In this study, we examined the effects of natural Jeju groundwater S1 (Samdasoo™), S2 and S3 pumped up from different locations of Jeju Island, Korea, along with local tap water, on body weight gain, serum lipids and lipoproteins, and liver histopathology in high-fat diet-induced...

Gastrodia elata Ameliorates High-Fructose Diet-Induced Lipid Metabolism and Endothelial Dysfunction

Overconsumption of fructose results in dyslipidemia, hypertension, and impaired glucose tolerance, which have documented correlation with metabolic syndrome. Gastrodia elata, a widely used traditional herbal medicine, was reported with anti-inflammatory and antidiabetes activities. Thus, this study examined whether ethanol extract of Gastrodia elata Blume (EGB) attenuate lipid metabolism and en...

Platycodi radix affects lipid metabolism in mice with high fat diet-induced obesity.

An aqueous extract of Platycodi radix inhibited the hydrolysis of triolein emulsified with phosphatidylcholine by pancreatic lipase in vitro and it reduced the elevation of rat plasma triacylglycerol level 2-4 h after oral administration of a lipid emulsion containing corn oil. These preliminary results suggested that the aqueous extract of Platycodi radix may inhibit the intestinal absorption ...
